Truck File Downloads

NASS will provide a single zip file for main event download. The deadline for submission is 1pm February 11th. No truck files will be accepted after that date and time. The final truck set will be available for download on the morning of the event. The set will be kept up to date and posted as the files are received.

P.S. Forgive the verbatim directions if you're a seasoned vet; it is guaranteed that there will be at least one if not more then one inquiry how to do this so we provide instructions :)

Instructions:

1. Click the link below to initiate the download of the truck files. It will prompt you to open or save, click save and save it again to a location you'll be able to find later.

2. Navigate to the Craftsman Truck Series truck file location:

C:\Papyrus\NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\series\cts\cars

3. Open the zip file and place all of the truck folders in that directory.

Setup Download

Instructions:

1. Before you start - you have to download and install the track for the race. Click on the track download link here if you haven't done so already, save it to a location where you'll be able to locate it. Your desktop is as good a place as any, and run the executable to install the track.

2. Click the link below to get the setup. It will prompt you to open or save, click save and save it again to a location you'll be able to find later.

3. Open your NASCAR Game tracks folder: Typically the path is - C:\Papyrus\NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\tracks

4. Open the track folder for California Night Speedway (california_night) - If you don't see the track folder, see see step one!.

5. Cut and paste the setup file in the folder.

You're all set!

CTS Truck Mod Download

The Project Wildfire CTS Mod can be downloaded in several locations. You can search for it on Google or you can use this link that takes you to the MasGrafx website download page.

Pace Truck and Billboards

NASS has created a Pace Truck and Billboards for the Race For Victory. The installation couldn't be simplier, just download the file, unzip the contents, and run the exectuable. An uninstaller is included so you can easily remove the files after the race.*

*Note - If you are running on an older computer and don't have the graphics turned up in the game, the billboards may render as you're driving around the track. This can be distracting. If this occurs for you, you can do one of two things. Uninstall the files or just remove the billboard MIPS. To uninstall use the uninstaller found on the Start Menu Shortcut. To remove the billboard files manually, go to your California Night track folder and delete the Billboard01.mip, Billboard02, and Billboard03.mip files. Thanks to RLMTV for packaging the files into an executable.
